    Fishing Hitchhiker for few hours

Hi guys, I'm not sure if this is the place to ask or even if its cool to ask, if not just tell me to piss off. Anyway, I am going to be in Wash DC from 3/4 to 3/9 and was wondering if anyone was going fishing thursday afternoon 3/5, and might have an empty seat to share. I have a business trip there and will be in meetings most of the time except Thursday. I won't have transportation or any gear, so I guess it could be a hassle to have me along, but I'd like to see what bass fishing is like there, possibly on the potomac. I'll gladly buy gas and snacks/drinks for the opportunity. If anyone is willing send me an email. thanks for listening and I hope to hear from someone.

Mark you are totally welcome to make a post like that here! I will never delete one, that's how friendships on the BBC start!! I wish I had the time I would take it off and we would go, but we will be short handed at work for 2 weeks and I can't afford to not be here. Hopefully someone will come along that has, or can take that day off!

CIII what's you schedule look like?????

doc, I wish I was off that day, but I have an elevator delivery inspection on that date. And like Gunny, it does not pizz me off. You do not get answers without asking. Otherwise, I'd say lets see what the spot xyz can do for us. Good luck!

Mark I wished I lived closer I would be glad to take the day off. (Also I just found out my motor is toast!) If no can take you send me an IM. Gunny and I know of a few guides on the river that could probably help you out. (Gunny I'm thinking Steve C. or Brian B.) We have a bunch of great guys on this board and I'm sure if someone has that day off they will take you! - DC

Thanks everyone for the consideration. I didn't really think it would be a problem to post this, I was just being humble . I thought about a guide, but it seemed like short notice and I don't think I have that in my budget, unless there's some huge BBC discount . If I don't get out at least I tried. I can probably find a place to throw rocks in the river to say I was there.

If one of those guides you mentioned has an inexpensive 1/2 day trip available I might be able to do that Thanks again

    Mark,
I will check and see if I can play that day.

Wher are you staying and when do you fly out? Be aware the drive from DC proper to Stafford can be a major pain!!!

Looks like we have a warming trend the next few days though!!!!
