It's a sad day in the neighbor hood when you get chastised for telling the truth. A local restaurant owner was verbally attacked and slandered on fakebuke for telling the truth about how it is right now. Really sad state this country is in right now. Sign below says it all. Had it been my establishment, I might have suggested they go to them golden arches or somewhere else a little hotter to have lunch. Any other parts of the country seeing this.

I was brought up to always tell the truth. But it bit me in the backside more than once.
Went out to dinner last night. A 2’x3’ sign read $250 sign on bonus plus $500 after ( either 3 or 6 months).
This is a restaurant where a dinner and drinks would average $100. Waitstaff would average $15-$25 a table, possibly $250-$300 a night, and they are begging for waiters and waitresses. Tuesday evening and it was a 30 minute wait, all tables were full.
The good news is that these restaurant jobs are so attractive now that the BBC crowd will be quitting their full-time day jobs with health insurance and retirement benefits to start a new career serving the public. That should end the labor shortage so that we can all get back to what made America great, drinking and eating out.
