As of Tuesday, it looks like the main lake is still jammed up. Hope for some west winds to blow this stuff to NY.

Same around here, too.... Ice is still on main parts....but the coves are opening. Tuesday suppose to be high 60s......
Next week I will be out....even if I have to take a BIG HAMMER to break the ice...Thanks for the Erie Report...

On the positive side, the bay is open, but if I'm driving to Erie, I wanna go on the big pond.

Last year my first boating day of 2010 was April 1st. We had a fairly mild March and April last year, then by May, temps were below average . Maybe this year it will be the other way around. Hang in there boys, it wont be long till we're wetting the lines !

Getting a little better. Area around the hammermill is clearing, but I wouldn't wanna get caught out there if the wind shifts!
