looking for a campground thats on a lake where i can put my boat in and dock it there our family is going on vaca and i pull my boat with my motorhome looking for a place in eastren pa i was looking at harveys lake but cant seem to find a campground on the lake
any help would be great Thanks
Harveys lake is all homes and no camping on the lake.
Check into lake Cowanesque. It's located just up off of rt15. There is camping right on the lake. Not sure if they have docks yet but we would camp there and just beach the boat. Some sites are right on the water.
I believe the army corp of engineers took over the site..Thompkins rec area. Check them out....might be a little bit of a run but a nice lake for pretty everykind of water activity.

How about the Manatawny Creek....
I was born and raised in Pottstown and fished there as a kid. Still kin folk there.
Lake Wallenpaupak has campgrounds at Wilsonville with nice ramps.
About 2 1/2 hour ride up the north east estension PA TP.
If you decide on the PACK... give me a call as I live 15 minutes from it and can give you some spots and pointers...maybe even meet one day...
