SIM Yamaha, long parts wait time

    Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to let everyone know, I ordered a water pump kit from SIM Monday morning and they didn't fill my order until 1154am Friday (hasn't shipped yet). If you need parts fast, take this into consideration.

It is not sim. It is Yamaha.

All dealers of all brands are suffering parts shortages.

Tens of ships moored off LA alone are waiting to be unloaded. Same problem in Washington state.

I am reminded of a saying from my working days supporting customer's support needs. "A failure of planning on your part shall not constitute an emergency on my part".

It is SIM, they sent me an email saying they overloaded on filling orders and it was taking them 4-6 days to get to fill orders. I aways go to them, they aways have good stock and have what I need.

I'm just letting people know the delays. If you need something quicker, could be better to call the company and check how long it will take to fill orders.
