I really enjoy the Mid West Rally. It is a great bunch of laid back guys. Many bring wife and family. I have been to four of the seven and strongly recommend it to all of you who are looking for a fishing trip where you can take along your family. We have hosted this rally twice at Grand Lake, but lost out in the voting this time around. The next one will be in the spring of 2009 on Table Rock Lake. Lots of stuff for the whole family.
The two proposed dates are 4/18 and 5/2. My third grandchild is due April 21st, so selfish bastard that I am, I am asking all of you to go to the Mid West Rally VIII forum and vote for the May date before the Sunday deadline. Several members who fish there all the time say the fishing should be better in May than in April. We will also avoid a conflict with an FLW event which will be held on the April date. Hope some of you will join us for the rally.

I think that would be great! I think all it takes is some one taking the bull by the horns and coming up with a plan and agreeing to execute it. I will certainly try to participate.

Froggy, 2 May got scrapped because many wanted to participate in the Grand Challenge. Between Easter, the FLW tourney, and the Grand Challenge we ended up on the 25th of April. I hope to see you all there.
