    Lawtonka Fishing

My buddy Craig and me went out to Lawtonka this last Saturday. The sand bass were busting water everywhere around 730 in the morning and last till about 900.
We caught around 10 sand bass on chrome rattle traps. If you could get around the schools almost every cast you got one. After that was over we went after some LM bass. I caught 5 biggest being 3 lbs on texas rigged black worms. We targeted a few laydowns and also the places where the grass would meet the small trees. Over all good day. Sorry no pictures....forgot the camera

Also has anyone been on any of the Duncan lakes lately. I am planning on hitting a couple this week and was wondering what is working and which lakes are producing.

I'm home on R&R and have been trying to get out every day. Craig and me hit Lectra Saturday morning. Got out there about 630 and fished till about 1200. Between the two of us we had around 15 fish. Most of them came off both watermelon seed and cotton candy weightless flukes and weighted flukes fished right above the hydrilla. This one was caught around 1100.

When do you head back from R&R? Wouldn't mind meeting up at Letra and wet a line. Just let me know.

    Re: Lawtonka Fishing (beetle)

I leave to go back on the 9th. The next couple days are going to be pretty busy for me, but if you want to go out after that just name time and day. I don't have much going on.
