Sandbass @ Grand

Hey guys, are the sandbass surfacing at Grand? I am wanting to take my nephew and father-in-law out to catch some sandbass. They don't fish much and never fish lakes. I have told them stories of how the sandbass surface and they are itching for me to show them. Wanted to see if anyone had any kind of info before I make the long drive and disapoint them. Any info would be great, I have to get these 2 on some sandbass!!!!!

I peorsonally have not been fishing for them, but a friend said there where some around Honey creek bridge and also around Sweatwater cove.

Last week we ran into a few south of the Horsecreek Bridge. They were starting to school up and hit the surface, but the wind started blowing and pushed them back down.

Im sure they are around Sweetwater also.
