I was looking for this oil and found it in 3 places: Walmart, BPS and Academy. THe price at each location was a very extreme range.
BPS $26.00 per Gallon
Walmart $16.00 per Gallon
Academy $13.50 per gallon
Why the extreme difference? I know retailers are in business to make money but BPS should be ashamed. Can't be a cost issue because BPS definately has more buying power than Academy and Walmart practically owns the world. Makes me wonder about pricing on other items at BPS
merc dfi oil @bps 39.00 and academy 22.00, and last year @ bps in okc i brought 6 gals for less the 20.00 a gal.
But now it is 26 and academy is half the price. I emailed BPS about it, let's see what their excuse is. I am sure it will be something from a can like: "At Bass Pro we strive to deliver the best products at the best price to all of our valuable customers........blah, blah, blah"
That premium plus oil used to be only $11 per gallon at academy. I noticed it has gone up in the last year.
