Stock Wiring in 2021 Nitro Z21 Question
I ordered a 2021 Nitro Z21. It will have a HDS 12 Live at console, HDS Live 12 at bow, HDS Live 9 at bow, Active Target, & two 10ft Talons. I have never ran a boat with this amount of electronics powered by the cranking battery. In general, (not necessarily Nitro Z21 boat owners) I've heard of people reporting that when using 3 or more graphs along with Active Target/Live Scope/360 Imaging, they don't have enough power and the units are having issues like blinking, not crisp image, slow to pick up bottom after coming off plane, etc, all due to low voltage. l am now concerned that the factory wiring in this boat will not have enough juice to effectively power all these electronics and have them run optimally. Does anyone have experience in a Nitro Z21 with similar electronics? If so, any issues with the electronics getting enough power? I have read a few threads on here about upgrading to 10 gauge wire or buying a pre-made harness from companies like Sea Clear Power, but if I do not have to upgrade the wiring, then why bother. Thanks guys!

I have ran 2 HDS 12 Lives and my Garmin with Livescope and never had an issue with the battery. They will likely wire everything into a central place under the console. Why not just request they run a separate wire to the bow and console for the units during the build. It's a few bucks and a few minutes. Don't worry about the battery until you have an issue. Many never will
