Questions about my Flo-Torq SSR installation.

    1. I had a hard time getting the tabs on the lock washer to align with the flats of the locking prop nut. I finally got it so the ears of the lock washer are flush on the flats but slightly off center. Is this ok?

    2. I understand it's normal for the prop to move after installation of an SSR hub. Mine does not. OK?

As long as the tabs fold across the flat of the nut that will suffice. CRITICAL that nut be torqued to the torque spec. If the nut needs to move to align tabs, TIGHTEN it further to make the next tab align.

Maybe I'm missing something, but both my 4S Torquemaster and 2S Sporty used Bellville washers instead of the older locking tabs. Has there been a change?

Your 1.25" diameter shaft gearcases would be configured that way.

The OP'er has a 1" diameter propshaft- totally different hub.
