Lightbulb Active Target: The Bridge Beat Down - Video

Just finished uploading my latest video to YouTube which shows a lot of examples of the Active Target in action. This all went down at a submerged bridge on Sam Rayburn on a recent guide trip. Bass catches, brush, structure, baits, etc. I must warn everybody your kids might become addicted to fishing with the new technology offshore which can end up being a detriment if you or their boat captains are shallow water bank beaters!

I am leaving for Okeechobee later today for the first MLF Pro Tour event of the season and hope to use it down there. I have some creative ideas on new ways it might give me an advantage. Hopefully I can get some good footage to create the next video. If you enjoyed this one and want to see more, please like and "Subscribe" to my YouTube channel. I am trying to create new content that lays heavily on fishing technology especially Lowrance units.

Do you have it angled to show more of the bottom on purpose? and removed the range lines?

Great video, thanks for sharing! Great reminder of what those of us who are waiting for ducers (or GOOD ducers) are in for! It will be worth the wait ...

I do not have it angled anymore than you are supposed to when rigging it properly. I do not like the range lines. They clutter the screen and I can look at the numbers at the top of the screen to gauge the range. When using the recording option directly on the Active Target screen, it does not record in HD nor do you get any of the overlays you would see when using it on the water.

I am running two 31AGM cranking batteries rigged in parallel connected to two 36v50ah Lithium TM batteries rigged in parallel. The whole set up is connected with the PowerPole Charge.

Another rigging question since you’re getting such great images. Is your Lowrance with AT wired direct to your AGM, or are you using Skeeters wiring bus?
