My brother-in-law has an 87 Johnson GT150 that he needs a stator for. Does anybody know where he may find one cheap. He doenst want to pay the price that a brand new one would cost. Thanks.

Ya get what ya pay for, This is not an easily exchanged or easily diagnosed item. I would go ahead and get the good one from Bomb on this one!! JMHO
