Congrats to Mark Zoltanksi for a solid LKN Spring Trail & making the fish off!!!

My buddy Mark Z has single handedly made the coveted fish off against a bunch of locals via a series of solid top 5 performances. He's been going head to head against some of the local and long time team trail ringers here on Norman and giving em hell while doing it! He's fished the famous J&J Winter and Spring trails this year and been a solid stick all year long.

We fished together on the Winter trail and I pretty well stunk it up as I don't know much about slowing down and fishing deep so I was in his way most of the time but did a hell of a net job for him!!

As for the Spring trail, we fished the Sat side and then my schedule got all fouled up keeping me off the water thus I wasn't much help to him (or me LOL) this year. Fortunately, he did his own thing on the Sunday side and has done very well and fortunately for me, business is good so I can at least say while I sucked at fishing most of this season, I had some good fortune with work "so I got that going for me -which is nice" -caddyshack quote for those who may be guessing!

There's little doubt the man can adjust and has the game to play and win so it's a real thrill to see him going solo on the Sunday side and putting the wood to some of the locals who've grown up on this pond and been fishing it for 30+ years.

Marks a great angler and solid business man, and a good friend and I'm damn proud of him! Way to go Z. Put the wood to em in the fishoff bro!!!!!!

Here's a couple from this past Sunday he boated. Look out boys, Z's in it to win it!!!!!

    Thanks guys, I appreciate it!

I wish work would allow me to get some more time on the pond to practice, but we all know how that goes. Like Chuck said, these guys are good and have been kicking @ss for years on LKN. I have lots of respect for guys who put their time in on the water to figure these green fish out. I enter these tournaments to "force" myself on the water, otherwise I would never find time to get out there. Going to be tough in the fish off, but hey ya never know!

    Thanks again for the props!
