has anyone used craigslist?? i'm trying to sell my boat unfortunately due to my back surgery. i've heard there alot of scammers there. i'm planning on posting on BBC
also.

i have 2003 procraft with 150 merc xr6 in good condition i have to sell.

Use common sense if it sounds fishy there is something up and you should walk away. If they want to send you check and have their assistant pick it up then it is a scam. I had someone try to pull this and I gave them the wspd address and the cheif of police's name to send the check to lol

Big ticket items are known to receive scammer e-mails and/or invites for others to sell your item.. Be cautious when using Craigslist..

Several years ago I sold a $30k used boat in less than a week. Shortly after I posted we were doing a test drive on the lake and at the end of the week meeting at the bank. I think Craigslist is all about timing.

got mine on there right now. got some b.s. but 2 real calls since posted. 1 guys coming up on wed. said he's buying a boat this week. hopefully it will be mine.

thanks for everyone's input.
my L5 disk is degenerative thats the very last disk above your tail bone. my disk was irritating nerves in my right leg. they scraped the disk about a month ago still getting spasms.& irritation. pretty much tired of my back hurting this will be 7 months.

Mine on there right now also. No scams and plenty of responses. Looks like it will be sold this week too

To avoid a scam, it's local and "In God we Trust" dead Presidents and have your paper work in order and go to the local bank for Notary Seals

well with some convincing from my wife, boys i decided to keep my boat
it is paid for & the chances of me getting another boat soon would be quite a few yrs. away. i did have a couple of guys wanting to see my boat but told them i was not selling it at this time. i sure wish i'd heal up so i could meet all of you....
