    Question UPS return to sender

Alright, so a package I shipped a couple weeks ago showed up today again. It didn't look like it had been opened, but I opened it anyway and there was a note in it saying something about it was the wrong thing and the buyer wanted a credit on their account. So, am I going to get smacked with the return shipping charge as a backbill, or do they just automatically return a package to sender without any charge, or what?

If its been opened and returned the buyer paid the shipping charge.
It would be up to you to credit him w/the charge. If you made the mistake
    its rightfully on you, LDS

Okay, maybe the buyer did all of the "return to sender" markup on it. I've got to get some clarification from him if he'll respond, which honestly I doubt.

If they didn’t open it how did they know it was the wrong thing.

Well, it looked like they had opened it after I looked closer, but I don't think they'd took it out of the box. I don't know, it's a cluster I'll just have to look into it and see and I guess watch my invoice to see if I get back billed or not. Thanks guys

If you sent the wrong item shipping is on you. If he had buyers remorse
or just didnt like the item, shipping is on him. A buyer can reject an
un opened package and it will be returned to sender. As to who eats
the shipping I dont know, possibly the carrier. LDS

Looked into his not a little further and it looks like he bought a part (that I had listed correctly) and thought it would fit a different vehicle than what was listed, and it didn't, so he returned it. It's on him. We'll see how it goes

Rts is covered in the shipping cost. No bill coming to you. I work for ups. So you are clear.
