I will be heading to falls lake the week of April 5th for about 3 days. I was wondering what is going on there right now and maybe some good areas to fish this time of year and what their hitting. ALso i need to know some good places to lodge at and where to find a boat ramp. Thanks for any help.

Alot of people (myself included) use Upper Barton Creek, it's on Six Forks Road. If that's too crowded (and it's starting to be), keep going until you see Holly Point, it has a boat ramp as well. If you're there for 3 days, I'd camp at Holly Point and just use the boat ramp there.
As far as places to fish on Falls, New Light Creek and Ledge Rock are the most popular I think, but you'll find success fishing the long points. This week is the first real decent week of sun and temps we've had, and the fish are starting to become more active, moving into shallower water.
