High Rock help...

Hey guys... got a club event this coming Sunday on the rock. Hadn't been to HR yet due to moving to Hickory in Feb and didn't get a chance to prefish it last week with the holiday. Don't want anyone to give up any secret spots but if you've been lately any tips would be appreciated. We don't go back to HR this year besides with my luck lately even if you put me on em, they're probably still safe IM if you like... thanks guys!

I have only been there once lately and it was two weeks ago. I caught fish every where but no real pattern. I was doing some testing with my motor height and really did not fish hard. Everyone I have talked to is saying it is tough right now.

I have a club tournament this weekend so I hope I get on something quick.

Where is your club launching from??

It's been really tough right here. No way to catch small fish I can whine about... they are all over 2 pounds, with most over 3. They all come off Rodney's secret spot. Don't believe those banjo minnow guys.. Helicopter lures are the way to go !!

Available from my dock, just drive by, offer a fiver, and you leave with your own video/lure/hook/plano combination. Just make sure to beat Jerry to the dock, he's drooooolin to get here...

Impossible since I don't know where your dock is. Is it in the cove with the wildlife boats?

I will tell you that sunday I put 6 in the boat from 1lb up to 3/12 caught em all with a black with blue flake 5" senko all around docks and floaters in 6-10 feet of water. We were on the water at 7:30 til 1:00 and went back at 4:00 and fished til about 8:30!! My partner cought 5 several off a crankbait and others on plastic in same deph of water. Hope this helps.

Free demo rides will not be a problem at all if you catch me on the water. I very rarely get to go, and we have sold all but one of our demo boats(sorry Rodney its gone to Missouri). If I head that way one sat or Sunday I will let you know what I am in and we can get together.

Ya see, Buzz, this is where you're missing the boat. You're listening to what he tells you. You're using the wrong sensory system (ears)..

You gotta take him fishing, and when you get close to one of the spots, he begins to get really quiet ( still using ears here ).. as you get on top of the spot, he gets real real quiet and begins to turn red ( now you're using your eyes ). Here is where you should be fishing ...



Now if you catch one of his fish, well......
