    She's at it Again...

...playing (practicing) that damned violin in the living room. I'm just soooo thankful I turned the third bedroom into my little hide-away.

I bought that thing for her 30 years ago, and she hardly ever touched it. Then last year she decided to take lessons! I think I may just get back into playing the drums again...to cover that squeeky noise!

I need a new TV in here...maybe a 32" LCD. AND INSULATION ON THE DOOR!!!!

I just have to add this little comment...

She's been playing this one song for what, 8 months now, and I still can't recognize the tune.

Oh, and she's now TRYING to play it "double stringed"...it's awful! I need more

You are a brave man to make such comments. You want to borrow my ear plugs?

Nah, I've got Metallica blasting in my headphones right now. I'm glad my kids turned me on to heavy metal!

    How are you doing, Ken?

She has "visions" of being able to play the violin parts on the Kansas song "Dust In The Wind". (She's going to ruin it in the meantime!)

(I think I'd take waterboarding any day of the week over this torture!!!)

Her instructor leans more toward the fiddle than the classical violin. Linda's the one who aspires to play in the classical sense.

Sounds like she needs a diff instructor....

I tortured my folks, when at age 10 I tried violin. Classical... Wish I'd had a fiddling instructor. (Oops...or maybe not )

It would need to be REALLY LOUD, Zook! Don't forget, I just changed my truck stereo...Pioneer head unit, (4) 6.5" Earthquake Sound speakers (capable of handling 200 watts each), and a 12" subwoofer. Rush never sounded sooo good in my truck.

You REALLY need to ask her to play for you while you fish from the back of the boat. Nothing like "quality" time together.
