    Smarter Every Day Videos

I know at least some of you have watched this guy, but I wanted to share for those that haven't.
I would compare it to "Mythbusters". If you enjoyed that show you will definitely enjoy this.

The guy covers ALL different things and yes, there are a few that are not as interesting. We all have different tastes.
One of his most recent uploads was of him getting to board and ride on a Nuclear Sub. Look for it after you watch this one.

Until this video he never really said who he worked for and what he actually did, he always just said he was a "rocket engineer".

Have fun going down the YouTube rabbit hole!

I've been watching Destin for some time now. His videos are great! I think he works for NASA in Huntsville. A smart dude. Check out Mark Rober, too. Very similar stuff.

I think Destin used to work at the Redstone Arsenal. Now he's got so much income off YouTube, he no longer "works". Smarter Every Day is all about the slow motion and Mark is more about building stuff to prove science. Both are excellent.

The best SED videos, IMO is the tour of the ULA launch tower for the Parker Solar Probe and it's follow-up tour of the ULA plant in Alabama. The backward steering bicycle is also awesome!

Yup! I wish destin and mark would make podcasts, and if they do I haven't found them yet.

An extreme example, there's two little 7 and 8 year old kids in SE Asia somewhere, probably China. All they do is play with the newest, latest and greatest toys. Kind of like an informal review. It's just half an hour playing with toys. I know this, I saw one playing at the in-laws asked my wife what the niece and nephew were watching and just couldn't get the attraction. But I'm not the target market. They have a bazillon tiny followers and make $5-6 million a year. I'm sure they don't even have to buy the toys now. Manufacturers are probably sending them crates of them hoping they "review" them.

No limit. Some make millions and some make a little.
Another group I watch are guys sailing around the world (although with COVID they are limited on movement right now).
Viewers subscribe and donate to their lifestyle. They keep on sailing and posting videos and living a pretty darn good life just off building up and living off of viewer donations from YouTube.

There’s a 6-7 year old kid in the US that made $25 million last year reviewing toys. Literally, plays with new toys. Was in Target over Christmas and saw he had started his own toy line through target. I honestly don’t understand how any of it works though.

Destin does have a podcast with another guy, I'll look it up. I really enjoyed the earlier ones, but quit listening recently.
No dumb questions is the name of the podcast, with destin and matt Whitman.
