Sportsman Show at The Big E

Does anyone go to this show? I may go this year, haven't been there in a while.

not worth it any more, 99% guides and stuff, very few tackle dealers

^^^^^ I agree waste my money almost every year not this year though. Never have found a deal. Most times I spend more time watching the archery shoot then walking what seams like an all guide show

i go every year and never fing anything good i only live 15 min away but if i had to drive more than that i wouldnt go

I don't see one boat dealer listed? Reynold's isn't even listed. Mostly hunting

Talked with Tom Reynolds yesterday, he told me only 3 tackle dealers are going to be there and NO boat dealers. The show is basically all hunting now.

Yeah Tommy posted on another site that they werent going, just wasnt worth it for them, so they are running a sales special this weekend. Atleast one other tackle shop from CT wont be there either.

Decided to go and it did suck. There were a few boat dealers in both buildings. Not much for fresh water fishing equipment. I will not be back

usually the guy with the bulk rubber was there. There wasn't anyone there. ! guy had some a couple rods I was interested in but I could get them at Dick's Sporting for about $20 cheaper.

At least you live within a reasonable distance. It's a waste of a 4 hr ride if I went.

there were a few boat dealers there, i worked with the Stratos dealer all show, wish i knew some of guys were going could've said "hey!"...but yes, the show does SUCK.
