Trip to Cape area week of April 17-23

Any tips for a couple of Northern boys desperate to fish (in their new boat)????
Thinking about heading down and hitting maybe Mashpee-Wakeby? Anything else we should look at? Probably do Sat-Sun-Mon-Tues am

Jim, I live near Ashument and Johns..... Johns being the better lake, tricky ramp but a good lake to fish during the spawn. but if you are going to be down on the cape, go to long pond in Harwich, good smallies.....

Totally open for places to fish, figure will just grab a cheap room for nhbass and I. I'll make him sleep in boat to watch it overnight.

I'd hit up Long Pond Harwich if I had a choice. Send me an email if you want more info on some tips there.

Jim if your going to fish Long Pond Harwich on Sun. Jane and I are going to try and make it there on Sun. We have not fished that pond in some years but we are up for it..We have Monday to rest up...

Long Pond, Harwich on Wednesday AM...the good Lord willin' and there ain't no meltdown...hope you can make it...be somewhere Thursday, too...
