There is a Ct River Team Trail tourney this Sat. out of S. Hadley (Brunnelles). They have twelve tournies from Vt to Ct and I hope to fish some. If you're interested contact me and we can discuss details. Dave davehigham@juno.com cell 413-687-7246

Dave, the boat will work out well in the river, a reminder about Brunelle's marina... They charge $25.00 to launch and park your car.

Mossboss- good to hear from you. Question- I've yet to use the livewell...does that plug stay in? It's just used for draining? How's your new rig coming along? Thanks. Yeah, its a good little river boat. I put a 71lb thrust on the bow. I've got the old one and will sell it cheap! $50 or b/o. Jerry, it's the Ct. River Team Trail run by a fellow named Skip de Maria (860) 745-3789. $110 entry per team and each team can weigh 5 fish. I've heard there are some very good fishermen that do it. I have a 16' jon with seats etc. 35hp and bow motorguide. I recently got the boat. I'm going out Thu from around 10am to 4pm. I don't know the river that well but i know how to fish for smallmouth and its within reach of the Oxbow which, although pressured, has some quality LM. Most of my river fishing has been in the Hatfeild, Sunderland area from my yak. That might be a bit of a stretch. The payout is good. Dave H (Easthampton, MA)

yes the plug stays in it is only to drain the livewell. I finally finished it and put it in the water last weekend, everything works good on it. A good place to try is north of the oxbow but before the island on the left side of the river you will see a creek coming into the river , go up this creek ( your size boat is ideal to dothis) using your trolling motor, and you will come into one of two ponds. I've had good luck in there with LM

yeah, i'm thinking i'm probably up for that one up here in Hinsdale. We should have a very good shot at $ cause that is my stompin ground... especially if they don't make this one particular cove out of bounds

Sounds good. There is one there on June 18. If we win I'll give you a glass of pigs blood for your training.

I know but the "Vampire in Training" threw me for a loop. If i don't find a partner I may even see you out there as a non-boater. God help us!

Dave if ya do decide to go for the Aba, go online and look up the director and give him a call. He's got to call all the entrants in to the National on friday so he's gotta have you down.
