Had my motor rebuilt 115 Intruder, carb motor, finished break in and starting to make some longer runs at 5000-5600 rpms. Getting good water pressure 25+@WOT, but if making a longer run at higher rpms, the 5000-5600 for 3-5 minutes, when I come off and and back to idle it will rev up once back in nuetral for 3-10 seconds almost like the fast Idle has been engaged about half way, so it doesn't rev really high just a little higher than normal idle rpm
Called the shop and they said trottle cable adjustment might be needed but it doesn't do it when shutting down from cruising under those higher rpm ranges for example an extended run from 3000-4700, symptoms it does not occur.
As for as performace from the rebuild, GPS speeds match and wholeshot seems the same so I don't see it as being together wrong, probably about 15-17 hours on it in the last 4 weekends, second tank without double oil being ran through it.
