    Folding Jack Plate? Possible?

    ,I wonder if they can build a folding jackplate? Anyone heard of such a thing as I want a 519, but I need it to be 1'6" shorter....

    They use to build a scissor jack that folded up for trailering and folded down to the height that you wanted, pretty sure Merc made that but don't remember for sure.

    It was a set back plate but folded all the way up for traveling, then it folds down back to 8 or 10 inches when it was fully extended, i dint know if they still make this one, that's been a few years back.

    Mercury Par-Lift - introduced in 1990's. It was limited to the lighter 2.6L Mercs due to weight. It was cool looking but is now extinct.

    I had one and it was kind of a POS. Thought it was called a Panther? I was able to get a free replacement to Bob's on my 2001 rig.
