    Just a reminder; first tournament is Saturday, March 3rd, at J. P. Coleman.
    Unbelievable weights being caught right now, including a 5-fish limit over
    31 pounds caught yesterday at J. P. Coleman and also a big fish of 11.78
    pounds! Can't wait to see what is going to turn up this week. Come get in on the fun!

    Awesome 1st event; 16 paying teams showing great respect, courtesy, and
    sportsmanship. And great weights reflecting the type of fishery we have at
    Pickwick--11 bags over 17 pounds including 7 over twenty! And this was a
    "bad" fishing weekend! Lots of fish over 5 pounds brought to the scales:

    First Place: Lloyd Pickett Jr and Paul Frazier 23.28 $1055.00
    Second Place: Craig Grubbs and Matt Ferguson 22.69 $630.00
    Third Place: Lance Walker and Brad Wilemon 21.77 $315.00

    Big Fish: Craig Grubbs and Matt Ferguson 6.57 $170

    Several door prizes given away at weighin courtesy of Browning Eyewear;
    thanks to all who hung around and congratulated the winners! Next event
    is March 31 at Scruggs Bridge; hope to see you there!

    Don't forget: Let's all take care of the great resource that is ours to enjoy!

    And a special thanks to Roger Stegall and the folks at J. P. Coleman State Park
    for alerting us of the problems with launching and loading boats in the low
    water; very much appreciated!
