    1997 Champion Trailer Manufacturer

Trying to find manufacturer of the trailer my 1997 Champion Fish. Can not find any identification plate and the stickers have all faded out. My coupler is not functioning properly and I am trying to find parts. Had hydraulic brakes on it at one time but were removed. Any help would be appreciated.

Contact e-trailer or Pacific Trailers, they might have what you need.

Do you have the VIN? If not, there is probably a hidden VIN on the trailer. Inside a frame rail or someplace that it can be seen, but not easily.

But there are only a few likely options for actuators, so looking online to match a picture of what you have might work.

I have a 1996 model - they were made by TI Trailers in Arkansas - not sure they are still in business. My coupler has also given me problems just recently.

Try Way more in Indianapolis Indiana. They have a lot of parts for trailers.

I think that’s an Atwood. Lippert Components may own the residual of that business now. Not likely to find the whole thing, but maybe latch parts.

So far I have had no luck in finding parts for my coupler. Everyone says no parts, they have discontinued the repair kit for my coupler. Looking for suggestions as what to do. I hate to have to have my coupler cut off with a cutting torch and another welded on. Got to be a way to fix this hitch other than that extreme. Any help would be appreciated.

There is a bolt-on actuator on eBay. Have to look to see if it’s usable for parts. https://www.ebay.com/itm/35527995619...Bk9SR7CMp7yLYw

If anybody wants to torch it off, run. Plasma or bandsaw is nicer

They don't show replacement parts online, but you could call and ask them if they still have parts you need.

You mentioned brakes were removed, are you wanting to re-install hydraulic brake function? If so, you'll likely need a new surge coupler anyway (old unused reservoirs get rusty and leak, dampeners wear out, pivot points get sloppy).
If you don't want brakes, cut the old coupler off with an angle grinder and have a chunk of square tube welded on - then bolt whatever new coupler you want to that (surge or plain coupler). It will add 6-8" to your tongue length (recheck tongue weight afterward), but you'll have the ability to change out the coupler if needed in the future.

Try C&O Marine. They just got me a brand new trailer for my 1998 Champion 221 without me sending in one measurement. They deal with a company that has all the original specs on file. Ask for Jason Bragg.

My champion has an ezloader trailer. I found number stamped on the trailer, I used this and contacted ezloader and they sent me new stickers, I then used a label maker to copy the info and tacked it over the old sticker (overkill i know) When I went to rebuild my actuator, I used pacific trailer I have an a60 actuator, bit they have parts for most actuators. I'll post a screenshot of the ufp a60 I got from pacific trailer
