anyone heard of mike ivy or ivy's marine from jackson area

i called several people recommended by some of you guys about rebuilding my motor but everyone wanted to rebuild it stock. i was referred by rj marine in brandon to have mike ivy rebuild my motor since i was wanting some mods done to it. so i was wondering if anyone here knew him. thanks

Performance outboards if they would do the mods, would be my ONLY choice. Those guys are great and honest.

i called them and they said they would call me back and i never heard back from them. this mike ivy guy does racing motors and they won the world championship this year so he must be pretty good. i was recommended to performance but it stinks that they didn't call me back. i will try them again tomorrow and see. i am just looking for a good dependable person for this. most mechanics don't do the mods. thanks for the info though

If you are wanting Mods done and get the most out of a 2.5, I would give Jay Smith a call. From what I hear, he can do a lot with that motor. Look over on the 2.5 site.

Yes originally, I live right here near Tommys now. I caught a few good ones today right before that front. The eve bite is wicked right now.
