Clarksdale Bass Club, Isle of Capri Casino, and MS Distributors announces the 2011 Desoto Lake MS River Classic bass tournament July 10th. 100% payout tournament and first place is guaranteed $5000 based on 50 boats. LOL damn. I missed the sign up there on the beach that said "This Hole Belongs To ......." It looks like I'm going to have to go to a P2 or P4 with a 200. It seems me and Bill have been having a hard time lately outrunning the fish!!

Hell I heard that he said that they had to watch him catch all those fish the week before then they outrun him there the next week and dont even get in the right spot that they were sitting on the fish. So right nut next time you better get some binoculars so you can figure out exactly what to do if your going to steal someones spot. Its pretty embarrassing that its a 20 plus lb hole and yall show up to the ramp with 11 lbs.

How far is the run from Desoto to Ferguson? I have often wondered that when fishing the BFL's from Ferguson..

According to my river charts its 106 miles from Hillhouse to the Casino. It will be shorter this weekend because you can cut all the corners. I'll GPS it for you and let you know

According to my Lowrance I hit the trip button when we left and it was 86 miles from the casino to hillhouse beach. Take into to consideration the water was high and we were able to cut lots of mileage out by cutting corners.

Andy, I'm with you think I'm gonna sell all my stuff too and take up something cheap and a lot less frustrating. At least your boat didnt decide it was too hot to run back to Desoto like mine did. Guess it was pissed off at me for only having 12lbs in livewell.
