OK, am I just blind or what? I've got a '99 Johnson 225HO pushing a Renagade 20 and I be Damned if I can find a water pickup for the speedo. Tube or "hose" visable on the front of LU goes into a solid fitting, no holes that I can find???

Mine was on the starboard side of the engine, down low in the pan, towards the back.

Look on the bullet of the nose cone. That's where they put em on the lightnings.

How precise are those water-speedos? I got my boat out for the first time yesterday. Got a top speed of something like 62-63 mph (the speedo stops at 60).
-08 150 HO with a Raker II 22". 5400 rpm.
