pearl river

does anybody have any experience with floattripping/camping on the pearl?? im planning to do an adventurous extended trip...looking to dump in with a jonboat and camping gear and float, stopping to wade along the way....looking to do several days...trying to decide on above the rez or below the rez...

i have done the boguechitto for 2 days....

also, i am not talking about now...definately will be late spring/early summer...

Watch out for those concrete seals(lowhead dams) and rock weirs!!! Theres some of them along the way. Its a beautiful river though. Shouldnt get quite as rocky and shallow as the BC.
