I'm a Hoosier heading up to St Clair this week and staying in Brighton, about 45 due west of Metro Beach. What are the best ramp options for fishing the mile roads and the mouths of the channels/shipping channel?

The Crocker Launch is probably your best bet for the mile roads. Metro is closer to the channel mouths but there is a long no wake to get out to the lake. Both are accessed off 94 at big beaver road(metro parkway). Crocker is south of Metro.
Harley is on the next point north and gives you good access to the channel mouths. Take the north river road exit of 94. Short no wake to the lake.
I live in Hartland which is about 5-10 minutes from Brighton and I almost ALWAYS use the Harley Ensign ramp (ALOT of docks and very clean to launch from)...
Thanks to all of you for the help!
Use the Crocker Launch....It is the easiest to get to off of the highway and doesn't have the heavy recreational traffic like the others...
I have to launch at Harley Ensign quite a bit for tournaments on weekends and the traffic coming out of the launch and down the Clinton River is off the charts...Also the Sherriffs Dept is right there and if you make a wake or even give the appearance of power loading at the ramp they will write you in a bass boat in a heart beat....I should know I got written for a no wake violation on Sunday...I was actually passed by another tuna boat but the sherriff wrote me the violation..My first on the water ticket...I don't launch at Harley unless I have to...
The Selfridge launch is a good one also....

The only reason I don't use/like crocker is due to the floating weeds/scum, it absolutely trashes the trailers...
