Shelbyville yesterday

Went to Shelbyville yesterday with ptrfishing. First, it was hotter than all can be. I don't know if I have ever sweated that much in my life . Second, the pleasure boaters were nuts as usual. Every different direction were boats from 20 foot speeders to yachts over 80 feet (that's right, what a waste of money to have a boat like that on Shelby, anyways). There were times that I thought for sure, the Cat was going to be ripped apart from hitting waves in all directions (thanks BCB for building a great product). Pretty sure Diskey and I hit waves that put is 5 feet in the air . At one point I told Diskey never to ask me to go to Shelbyville on a weekend again .We caught some great fish. Lost of fish that measured and a few that did not.

While you're inspecting to make sure you have no stress cracks in your Cat, I'm going to get xrays to make sure I don't have any new stress cracks myself.
Heck, it was worth it. The fish were on pretty good yesterday.

Got to just love these Holiday weekends. You should come up north and try Geneva some time. It will make what you encountered seem like a gentle ripple

All of it The water by the end of the day was 84-85 degrees!!

I think most are on fish at shelby this week I caught em Saturday but not sunday in our club tourney..I took a pretty good spanking

No, Team PTR took a spanking like Robert did We were still catching keepers in coves in the flooded smartweed Saturday, so we died with that dried-up pattern on Sunday...... while a number of guys plucked them deep off main lake points.

Oh yeah, I did manage to catch a huge 20 lb cat Carolina rigging a point during the ITT, and we continued to catch nice keeper walleye in the oddest places.
