water leak under the cover

I have a 2000 200hp Ficht. Modle#RE200FLSSH Serial#G04864098

I was running the motor with the cover off in the driveway after a tournament. I noticed that there is a small drip coming out from a gasket on the lower most portion of the block where it meets the top of the lower unit. It is on the right side of the block if I'm looking from the motor from the back. The motor is running great. What is this leak, and is this causing any internal damage? Pict are included. Its right below the black hose on the first pict.

Pull the motor cover and take a good look. Likely it's just the water hose there leaking a bit. It could be the powerhead base gasket, but that would be super rare.

Thank you very much seahorse, i will take the cover off today, i truly hope you are correct, i hope it is only the hose!!! if it is the powerhead base gasket...will that cause internal motor damage if i run the motor?
