200 H.O Question

My 2006 200 H.O has dropped No1 cylinder at 60.8 hours and they are fitting a dressed 2008 powerhead . The dealers are telling me that the 2008 powerhead is stronger than the 2006 is this true and what is the difference between the two. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

As in anything, technology continues to improve product even in outboards.

The 08 will feature an improved oiling system with 6 additional lubrication points, different injectors, and some other small tweaks. My 08 225HO powerhead is quite a bit stronger than my 06 was.
