Any Reports on Coffeen?

I had a guy tell me friday that Coffeen was froze at the ramps and they haven't been generating power. Can anybody confirm this? I hate to drive there and find this out for myself. I have a hard time believing that though, especially with all the cold weather we had lately.

The plant is shut down. The launch area is open and 38 degrees. There was ice earlier in the week. Check the 24/7 site for results from this weekend.

Thanks for the info. I just heard again from somebody else they had ice there on Thursday. That seems crazy to me. I'm guessing the fishing has slowed way down? I may just head to Baldwin tomorrow.

Plant is back on line. Lake should warm this week.

I was there Sunday 1/17 and there was a little bit of ice in the back of the cove around the ramp. Water temp was 38-39 everywhere on the lake.
