Help for the little man

My son (12)is fishing West Point Lake for the BFN Southern Div the first of April.
Could anyone help us out? We have never been there and have not been able to find much info on the lake.

1st thing - CONGRATS to your son!!
That is something he should be proud of!!!
I would start off by googling West Poiny Lake, Ga bass fishing reports
You should get quite a few hits by doing this. You can also refine your search
a little by putting in the month in your search as well.
Also google Georgia Outdoor News. This a GA based outdoors mag that
covers hunting and fishing. You will be able to get good hits from there.
I will tell you that an important thing to remember for West Point is for him
to be ready for anything that time of the year. Depending on weather you
could have all phases of spawn going on. Good luck to him!!

Made our first trip rains made the the lake high and muddy.
fished the east side of the lake mostly caught a few fish on cranks and rattletraps.
will be returning on the 26th if anyone has any more info.
