Mustad ultra points!

I have been using Mustad ultra points trebles for several years now on my hard baits without any problems! Today two of them let me down back to back, both broke in the round bend and both were on key fish
I am not sure if these were a bad batch or what but it definitely took the confidence I had in them away. Every fish I hooked today I was playing easily as I could after this and I hate having to worry about something while fishing.
I also us Owner stinger trebles on most of my topwater... looks like they will get all of my business from here on out!
On the upside I know my Seagars invisX is stronger than steel!

I had a couple Mustad's break on jigs. It seems that if you get a single rust spot they will break.

Owners have not let me down and Gamakatsu is a good hook too !! I have some of the new dock skipping hooks I want to try , just been working a bunch ( no complaints here ) and need to rebuild my carbs cause Ethanol bite me in the a$$. So now they leak so my mota has lost a little giddyup.

I went ahead year before last and rebuilt mine just to get the new gaskets and all in it before problems hit!

Fished tru-turns till they got hard to find. Swiched to Gammies, ans haven't looked back.
