I was just wondering if any of you have been to Seminole before. It was cold today but there's no telling what the weather may be like by the time you get here. Hopefully it'll warm back up and the water temp will still be in the upper 50's.

None of the 6 of us has ever been there. I am trying to purchase a new chip for my GPS. The one I have does not have Seminole on it. Low 50s, high 50s, either/or. Just not rain and alot of wind.
Please keep us posted on whats happening down there.![]()
Thanks,
Ron
Ron,
Terry has been in touch and I'm planning to meet up and show him how to navigate the lake and a few fishing holes to try. Whatever you do....Don't go running WOT anywhere other than in the channel or the marked boat lanes unless someone who knows the lake shows you where you can and can't run safely first. There's a lot of wood on Seminole and it's not all just in shallow water. If any of you decide to get a paper map get the Atlantic map not the Kingfisher map like they sell at Wal-Mart. The Kingfisher is very inaccurate and hard to find anything on even for me and I fish out there every week. I'd give you guys my old map that I don't use anymore but it's awful marked up![]()

Where can you purchase an Atlantic map? I was all over the internet today and couldn't find one.
Ron,
If you want to borrow my Navionics chip I have one for that region. You should be able to find the map online they are made by Atlantic Mapping co. Like I said you can use my chip if you want. I ain't fishing until Feb.

I'm not sure where to get them online. I bought mine quite a few years ago at Wingate's on Seminole. I've seen the newer ones and they aren't as detailed but they're still the best out there. I'm pretty sure they still have them at Wingate's.
OK,
Here's a place I just found online that lists the Atlantic Seminole map:

Thanks for the offer Fred.![]()
I hate to borrow things. When they break then I need to buy two.
I am 98% sure I am going to buy one.
BPS has them for $150 with a $50 rebate. I'll try to figure which board sponsors might carry them too.
