He’s got a heart valve that’s not working properly. He said that one of the most expert surgeons who specializes in repairing this particular valve is doing his surgery. And, it can be done in a minimally invasive manner, meaning only a 7-10 day recovery time.

He's got a dysfunctioning mitral valve, which is the valve between the left ventricle and atrium of the heart. The left side of the heart receives oxygen rich blood from the lungs and sends it out through the aorta to the body. From what he said on facebook, the valve is leaking which is actually sending some of the blood back to the lungs instead of to the body. He said he's been short of breath and not feeling right since the Classic. Sure am glad he's there in Knoxville where he can get great care. I'll be praying!
