1/6 on Lanier

We had a great day to be out on the pond today....we had 4 boats show up,consisting of:

Myself/Drew
Ed/Paul
Kevin/I'm sorry I forgot his name
Neil solo

The wind wasn't bad,the day started cloudy and a little cool,but pretty nice considering the date....We ended up with sunny skies,and mid 60s temps.....GORGEOUS.

We boated some good fish,but only weighed in 3 fish......We all caught good fish.

Thanks for coming guys.....Paul,good to see ya my friend....we gotta get together one of these days....I'd like to say HI to Cynthia,too.

Ed....Thanks for coming....I hear you're the wiz with frontpage....I'll be calling for your wisdom...plus,we gotta get out together on the water some day

Kevin and partner.....Thanks again for coming....I hope we can get together again soon.

Neil....Sorry you had to leave early......We've got to get out again,too.

Todd and his partner had just over 9lbs with just 3 fish way to go.. great catch.

Pappy I had a great time fishing with you, and hope we can get back out real soon.

I didn't have to leave early, I got pissed off and left. One stinking dink fish. I still owe you $10.

I marked a pile of fish in the back of Six Mile and stood there jigging them for an hour. When the guy on the bank caught a monster catfish, I realized that's all they were.

If I can't find a fish on Lanier I'm going to take up wakeboarding and just piss off every bass fisherman on the lake...

Glat to hear yall had a good time, It was a great day to be on the water, and I hate I missed it. We had a good day on Keowee also. Caught close to 30 fish in the 13'' to 15" range but never could get a good kicker. Came in 2nd and move back in to 1st for the year. I'll be fishing a club T on Lanier this Saturday, so if any of yall want to help a brother out just shoot me an IM.

Gee Paul.....a little under 10lbs sounds better than a little over 9

You'd have beat us with 3 fish, we weight in 5 and still only had 9lbs.
