    HyroTec Tuner, do you need a poppet diverter?

    When using an aftermarket tuner like a Hyrotec, do you need a poppet diverter?

    Mercury 3.0l 225EFI, 2001, 0T264057, 250xb ECU’s, 63cc heads, Boyesen 2stage reeds.

    yes, definitely get the poppet diverter as well.

    For sure. Either way the holeshot will likely be the biggest difference you notice (less bottom-end grunt).
