I for one am not too surprised. I hate to see fishing/boating related businesses go under, but times are tough.
should of stayed in there little place there new place was nice but they jacked up the price it seemed 2 me
That stink to hear. It stinks seeing places having to close down because things have been so bad for so long. I hated it when the company I use to work for had a big lay off in January 2007. Glad I made it though till the very last one.![]()

Remember November, or it WILL get worse !!!
They said back in early 2007 that things were so bad we wouldn't start seeing it get alot better till 2014 or 15. It's been looking like the news reports were currect. They said the hole was so deep that it could only get alot worse before it got any better. http://www.brillig.com/debt_clock/

What few times I went to the Outback it was great, First time I went in the okd shop it was packed full with a great selection on anything you could imagine.. They even had a few things BPS didn't!!
Very sorry to hear they didn't make it!![]()
Was always my first stop on the way to Henderson's fish camp....really sad the small shops just can't make it...

Ed,
Is that the shop we stopped in on the way to Okeechobee last year?
yup, they sure are.all tackle 25 percent off. Just left there 186.00 lighter.
Yes Mike that's the place.....really to bad. As far as I know that leaves that area with nothing for bait and Tackle shops. It's go to Lake Wales or all the way to Clewiston. Lake Placid Marine used to have a good fishing department but the last time I was in there it was minimal.![]()
If I remember correctly, there should be a bait & tackle on 98. Lorida bait & tackle.
