What's happening at Okeechobee?

I have a buddy visiting from up North. Wants to go out on Okeechobee. Has anyone been out lately? Any info would be appreciated.

fish are biteing you can run to most common area if you know the lake , some good fising just outside clewiston where the lake opens up.

The dynomite holes have been holding fish but small with a few good fish, where uncle joes cut enters the lake has been some large fish schooling.
Be careful running the lake if you don't know your way around.
If you know how to run the lake, out in front of cochrans 50-75 yards or so off the grass throw rattle traps and grind the ground!!!

those sound interesting how big are they and deep.....are there alot of them or just a couple.....I remember some of the best lobstering I ever had was in the keys gulf side in old bomb holes
