    Lake ochechobee

I am planning a trip to lake O next week. I have read the reports that say the water is at 10.97. Hard to understand or interpret that without any reference to what that looks like. How is the water level? Good, fair, poor. Just looking for some general thoughts on the condition of the water and relative safety for boat operation. Thanks

I haven't been down there in a couple years now, but with the level where it is now I would still be cautious once I got out of the rim canal.
I'm sure someone will post in give you more input.
    Good luck.

water level is still very low and you need to use caution when running the lake, let us know where you are going out of, so we can help you navigate a little better and tell you what to watch out for!
Remember there is alot of rock on the lake and it is not forgiving!

Locks on the North end are closed until the lake gets higher. Use the Scott Driver ramp.
