    Santa Fe

    Has anyone fish out there lately? I was thinking about fishing there this weekend. i dont want anyones hot spots put some help would be nice.

    overall the fishin has been fair to good.the flippin bite has been pretty good but the water is fallin fast and areas that had 3-4' under it now has 1-2', so you have to find the deeper edges w/ the thicker grass.still plenty of flippin and pitchin spots though.the frog bite has been decent on some days but once the sun gets up it dies off quikly.drops and piles are the most consistent.rigs and cranks workin best.only local lake around here that is easily accessible .

    It took almost 17#'s to win the Wed. evening tournament last night. If you go to Santa Fe on a weekend during the summertime it's gonna be really crowded with jet ski's, wakeboarders, and pleasure boats, so be prepared to deal with boat wakes all day long.

    i may be on the lake sunday...i hear the deep bite is on for some really big fish right now.......
