Depending on where you are in Orlando, there are some great smaller lakes you can fish with a smaller boat. I have a plastic 11' with an 8HP and a trolling motor and have had a good time at them. If you'd like, let me know what area your in and I'll tell you about some of the ones I know that are close by.

I've got a couple maps of local lakes I'd be glad to send you if you message me your e mail address. The Conway Chain is great. There's also Moss Park, Lake Baldwin (depending on your motor size, they prefer electric only). I just moved way from that area and am in Apopka now. Still trying to find some smaller waters around here.

Here's a couple of links that will help you with the smaller city lakes.

Sorry but I've never used that ramp and don't know anything about it as far as fees or security goes. I'm sure someone on her with more experience will step up and give you a decent report.

Hey Nick- If you ever have a free day during the week and want to go out around here (Citrus County) and don't mind operating the trolling motor (109#• 18'8" Triton) but you know the rules; Ass, Gas or Grass, Nobody rides for free

Benny, Sven Yanovich wants you to test his new banana hammock on the Rainbow. He said something about liking your chapstick......not sure what that means though. Kinda scary.

No ramp fee at Whaley's. Limited grass parking. If the cove you re reffering to is Friar s its only an 1/8 of a mile or less.
