Adding a Removable Console

So I went to the Ranger dealer and priced out a new Z519 the other day. It fits my budget and checks off all my boxes except for a removable passenger console. (I don't want the console but the wife does so I have to figure something out) Are there options to make a removable console? Can I order a console separate from the boat and fab a DIY mounting system? I know other brands offer hardware kits to do it, maybe a kit from another boat brand can be made to work? I asked the dealer if they knew of any options and they said no.

There’s no easy way to do what you’re suggesting, at least that I’ve heard. Good luck with your search, though.

That stinks, I was hoping someone figured out a halfway decent solution by now. Can just a passenger console be ordered from Ranger?

I’m not sure, but typically you can order any such options to fit your boat from Ranger, with the SN. But I do know that (a) they are pretty pricy, and (b) shipping is a killer. It’s not that they are so heavy, but extremely bulky, due to being fragile and needing a lot of support during shipment. Dealers charge $1500 and up to install one.
