    Traded Up...Long Time Coming

Found a newer Ranger and had the itch. Scratched it before I had time to think about it. Any thoughts on this one? 1999 519DVS with 225 Merc OptiMax. Absolutley pristine condition. Has new seats, 36v Fortrex, new batteries, Humminbird 997c si, deck extension, and sea star hydraulic steering. Low hours on motor with detailed maintenance records. Picked it up today for $12,500.

What should I expect out of this rig? Cant wait to get it in the water. Any upgrades I should be looking to do? Hoping I didn't pay to much. Kind of an impulse buy.

Now it's time to clean out the old 1988 Ranger 363v and list it for sale. Still a lot of life left in her.

    Very nice!

What is the brand / model of the spider rig set up?

I am thinking about something like that for mine.

That's a nice boat at a good price (especially with the items you listed). If I remember correctly, that was a pretty fast running hull. Enjoy your new rig. Beautiful colors!!!

Nice rig. If you can upgrade to Ultrex and beef up the electronics.

Very nice! I've seen a few out there myself, but those early OptiMax motors scare me. I don't know a lot about them, I've just heard the term "Opti-pop" used.

Nice rig! I just picked up the exact same boat a couple weekends ago but mine sits on a tandem axle trailer and has an Evinrude on it. Taking mine out for its maiden voyage this weekend hopefully!
