    Lake Dora good or bad?

I am looking for a good lake to fish in central Fl. The Chain of Lakes looks good and I need some help with finding the best in the area. Early Feb. is the target date for a our 3 day trip. Where would be a decent place to stay and what about boat rentals because we don't want to drag our rigs down that far.. We fish Guntersville and Lake Weiss regularly ,but are in need of a winter break and doing some Florida bass fishing. And I will take back all those Tebow cracks if some of you Gators will give me a helpin hand! thanks guys..

Dora and the entire Harris chain can be good for those that know it, and absolutely kick your butt if you don't. It would not be my choice for a first time trip. I would most likely go to Toho better accomodations and easier to find fish.

Ok.. the advice is appreciated.. How about getting a tin boat rental with a trolling motor and maybe a small kicker for puttering around in ? I have a ex neighbor that lives in Ormond Beach how about that area? Any good bass lakes close to that area? He is checking on some possiblities around there, but he's not a fisherman so it could be hit or miss going that route!!
